The first Carbondaq was launched in October 2006 as the first online demonstration of the concept of personal carbon trading. Building on lessons and feedack from this we are developing a new version of Carbondaq to be more sophisticated and to enable users to trial online trading.
Using official data from the Government's Act On CO2 Calculator users will be able to calculate there personal footprints to an accurate level and trade allowances between each other. Users will also be able to pool their allowances together to form trading groups which can then trade and 'compete' with one another.
Working with web experts UnderWired and White October we are currently developing the website and trading platform to be fully opperational in May 2008.
