Patti O’Heeter

Patti O’Heeter

Patti recently moved to the big smoke after landing her first job as a columnist for the woman’s magazine Vague and is renting a three-bed, end of terrace house with two friends.

She lives about five miles from her central London office, and commutes by tube. Rush hour’s not great, but cycling poses a very visible danger in the mind of Patti – she never ceases to be amazed what a close shave the cabbies give cyclists.

She uses her Ford KA to visit friends outside London, often sharing the journey with housemates. They do a big supermarket shop together about once a week in the motor, and take the opportunity to drop in the recycling – mostly used boxes of Cheerios.

Patti enjoys travelling. She and some mates went to Australia for New Year and Mexico is on the menu for next summer. This is a recent departure for her, having only just gained the confidence to make the extra expenditure. Short flights are a major attraction, and a successful office romance looks set to deliver a weekend in Venice soon.
